2nd Show

So my new employee is slacking already...she started track and is feeling really tired....can't blame her.  Anyway, she did accompany me to the La Habra show....we had a good time.  I took some really nice pics of my favorite quilts of the if I could just figure out how to get them out of my cell phone, I could show them to you.  I will figure it out sometime today.  So right now I am getting ready for the Glendale Show next weekend.  I am working on a new quilt, "The Auction".  I traced the design to muslin and started stitchin' it on the first day of the La Habra show last Saturday AND I have about 30 minutes worth of stitchin' left.....YEAHHHHHH......I am hoping I will have the top done by next week for Glendale...fingers crossed.  I will post a sneak peak at the stitchery part in a little bit....

New employee

I have hired a new employee, my daughter London to keep the blog updated.

My daughter London.  I dictated this post to her to see how she would do and she got the job. i have been busy working on new patterns. I just did my first show in Bakersfield a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun and tiring, but i so enjoyed this being at a quit show again. I debuted two new patters: September and Brother fighting Brother. Brother fighting Brother is $26 and September is $14. My next quilt show is in La Habra this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Next I will show her how to post pictures, so that you can see the two new quilts. Our goal is to post twice a week.
Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I am getting back in the rhythm and working on more quilts.

Keep stitchin'

The year is almost over

Hello everyone,
so here is what has been going on...first off, who knew trying to get over pneumonia could take soooooooo caused me to miss fall market in Houston,..,,
Ok, so then I threw out my back....not fun....then to top it all off, I was at home by myself, started feeling dizzy, it kept getting worse.  I laid down thinking it would pass.  Oh no, it kept getting worse and worse and worse....after a trip in an ambulance and in emergency room for about 6 hours...It is vertigo. NICE....and through all of this dealing with the fibromyalgia.  Through all of this, I am not complaining, it could be a lot worse. internet works when it wants to.  Love technology,  So my husbands best friend comes over on Sunday to "fix" the internet (our resident geek)....we shut everything down, he is here for a couple of hours...says everything is great, fixed, we are ready to go....and it is down on Monday.  Wonderful.

Anyway, with all of this going on, I have designed enough quilts to get me through the next 3 years.  That's all I could do, I couldn't work really work on any quilts.  I was able to submit quilts to a couple of magazines and they got accepted.  YAY!!!!!! Those will be out next year.
Also, thank you to everyone who has purchased my book.  It is doing well.  If you haven't seen the inside of the book, I will post some pictures later.

Just one more note:  I am working really, really hard on a project.  I know it will happen, I just don't know when.  Send me those positive vibes and prayers.  I will give you an update on that when I have more information.

Ok people,
time for me to stop rambling...that's all I have for now...
